Kol Dodi Institute is the adult education program for Kol Dodi Messianic Congregation that offers classes in history (ancient through modern), biblical studies, theology & doctrine, discipleship, eschatology,  language study, social thought and Jewish studies.


Mission of Kol Dodi Institute


Kol Dodi Institute seeks to provide an environment where adult learners can deepen their love and devotion to Yeshua, become seasoned biblical thinkers, grow in wisdom and discernment, increase their awareness of the Jewish experience and understand the dimensions of Messianic Judaism so that they will be equipped to follow Yeshua, bring glory to God and reach both Israel and the nations with the Good News of the Messiah.


Course Times & Length


Courses are normally taught during these times of the week as either single classes or as a series that can run over several weeks:


Shabbat mornings, 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the Gym


Tuesday evenings, 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary

Annual Holocaust Lecture

            In this class, students will learn the history of the Holocaust from 1933-1945 through graphs, photos and a lecture/presentation. Theological issues surrounding the Holocaust will also be discussed although the session is primarily a study of history. Why did the Holocaust happen? How did it happen? Who was responsible? What do we learn from it that can shape us as we move forward?

The Canonicity of the B’rit Chadasha (New Testament)

            In this course, students will learn about the formation of the apostolic writings, the truth of those writings and how and why they came to form the B’rit Chadashah, the New Testament. Why does the apostolic writings contain 27 books and not more?
